Ladder Fall Protection
Systems that reduce fall risk during ladder access by providing guided support for ascent and descent.

ladder fall protection systems
Ladder fall protection systems typically consist of a guided device that travels with the user along a fixed rail or cable mounted to the ladder structure. Systems are selected based on ladder height, configuration, use frequency, and applicable code requirements.
where ladder systems are required
OSHA regulations require fall protection on fixed ladders above specified heights. For new installations, ladder cages are no longer accepted as the sole means of protection, and existing ladders may need to be upgraded to meet current requirements.
Ladder fall protection systems are commonly used to address these requirements by providing guided protection during ladder use.
types of ladder safety systems

Cable Vertical Lifeline Systems
Best for: Fixed ladders on towers, silos, and industrial sites
A Cable Vertical Lifeline System is a fixed system that runs along the ladder, allowing workers to climb freely while locking instantly if they fall.

Rigid Track Vertical Ladder System
Best for: High-use ladders in manufacturing, utilities, and telecommunications
A Rigid Track Vertical System is permanently mounted on systems that experience frequent use and high visibility. It reduces fall distance and sway while ensuring a smooth and safe climb.

Ladder Anchor Post
Best for: Rooftop access, hatches, and maintenance work.
A Ladder Anchor Post is a portable system that provides a secure tie-off point for personal fall protection gear. They ensure OSHA compliance and safety when installing a permanent system isn’t an option.
installation and compliance support
We provide ladder fall protection systems through coordinated engineering and installation services, with system selection and installation aligned to applicable OSHA requirements and manufacturer specifications.
Installation services are provided nationwide, with documentation available to support compliance review and audits.
custom design and integration
Designed to integrate with existing fixed ladders, platforms, and access points. System selection and mounting approach are based on ladder configuration, structure, environment, and applicable requirements.
built for industrial environments
Components and mounting methods are selected for exposed, high-use access points and long-term service. Systems are installed to support consistent performance when used and maintained per manufacturer requirements.ditions.
Whether securing a worker on a catwalk, rooftop, or high-elevation tower, our systems are built to handle heavy use, so your team can work confidently.
ongoing compliance support
We provide inspection and recertification services, with documentation, to support ongoing compliance and system condition tracking over time.
What are OSHA’s guidelines on fixed ladders?
OSHA’s updated fix ladder standards (29 CFR 1910.23) focus on preventing falls and ensuring safe workplace access. Compliance with these regulations is critical for worker safety and avoiding penalties.
Ladders over 24 feet must have fall arrest systems
Any fixed ladder extending 24 feet or more above a lower level must be equipped with a fall arrest system. A ladder cage alone no longer meets OSHA’s safety requirements.
Ladder rungs must have a width of 16 inches
To provide secure footing, ladder rungs, steps, or cleats must have a minimum clear width of 16 inches before any safety system is installed.
Ladders must be 7 inches away from the wall
A fixed ladder must have at least 7 inches of clear space between the centerline of the rungs and any permanent object behind the ladder.
Grab bar extensions must be 42 inches tall
For safe ladder access, side rails must extend at least 42 inches above the top of the landing platform.
